'Orange is the New Black' actress Dascha Polanco punched a teen

Dascha Polanco, who plays prisoner Dayanara Diaz on the popular Netflix series, allegedly clocked 17-year-old Michelle Cardona “about the face and head with a closed fist at least three times,” according to court papers.

Polanco also allegedly pulled the girl’s hair and hit her arm in the July 19 incident. Police issued the actress a desk appearance ticket at the time.
On Thursday, Polanco, 33, was arraigned on assault, attempted assault and harassment charges in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Polanco was released without bail and was ordered by a judge to steer clear of Cardona.
