Toronto Clown Saves Two Women From Alleged Attacker

A clown from Toronto is being called a hero and was recognized by the city after shielding two women in his vehicle from an alleged attacker over the weekend.

Shane Farberman, AKA Doo Doo the Clown, was driving through downtown Toronto after working a holiday party when he spotted a man on a rampage near Front and Bathurst streets. Farberman followed the man and called 911 to alert police. After turning onto Bathurst Street, he then saw the suspect approach two women and hit one of them.
He said “I rolled down the window and screamed, ‘Get in my car,’ probably 20 times.
The women got into the car with Farberman and two other clowns, one who was pregnant while the man briefly struggled with another person who was walking down the street. A video from Farberman’s dash cam shows the man sprint back towards the SUV where he began attacking the vehicle, even ripping the mirror off.
The police apprehended the man and he underwent psychological evaluation in hospital.
“I’m just glad everyone is OK,” Farberman said. “It took eight officers to hold that guy down.”
