A Correction officer, Kevin McKoy, 30, was caught trying to smuggle 16 packages of marijuana and seven scalpel blades into the complex Tuesday afternoon, the Department of Investigation said.
Investigators then found drugs inside the crooked correction officer's car parked in Queens and home in Brooklyn, authorities said Wednesday.
Officers discovered 120.5 grams of green-colored synthetic marijuana, 5.9 grams of pink synthetic marijuana, 10 suboxone strips and seven scalpels, as he tried to enter the Anna M. Kross Center during the 3 p.m. shift change.
The drugs were inside the fingers of a latex glove fingers and hidden in his pants, prosecutors said. The scalpel blades were wrapped in black tape and buried inside the marijuana, according to authorities.
