Several people shot at parade in New Orleans park

Several people were shot Sunday night at a party during a community ground parade in New Orleans’ Bunny Friend park, police said.

A call of shots fired at the Nine Times Social and Pleasure Club parade came in around 6 p.m., NOLA.com reported. An hour later, police described a scene of chaos, with several people lying in pain around the park and near a playground. Police estimate up to 300 people were at the parade.At least 10 people were taken to the hospital, WWLTV reported.
